• A research trip - A visit to the AT&T Archives. David Wiecek has found some fascinating information here, and has summarized it in this article.

• Read all about Insulators and Computers; a new column appearing in Crown Jewels of the Wire
• On line viewing and ordering of NIA logo items; shirts, caps, patches, and badges.
• The Internet Mailing List and Internet E-Mail Contacts tables have been reformatted so that browsers like AOL without table support can display them better.

• A search engine has been added! You can search for concepts or specific keywords on any of these pages. Its cool! Be sure to check it out! Your WebMeister's hat goes off to Don Lundell for getting this setup.
• 3 Full Color Photographs from the January 1996 issue of Crown Jewels of the Wire
• Canadian Railway Communications Insulators, 1880-1920 has been added to the Reference Books section
• Glass and Porcelain Ashtrays have been added on the Insulator Go-With's section. This may sound a little mundane, but you will change your mind when you see some of the photographs!

• The mailing list is dubbed "Insulator Collectors On the Net" (ICON) after several weeks of furious brainstorming email. Bob Stahr submitted the winning name.

• If you use UPS to ship your insulators, here are some tips and information from collectors and UPS.
• The Foreign Insulators section has more material added, along with pictures of the flags of each country.
