Greater Chicago Insulator Club(northern IL/IN & southern WI) |
The Greater Chicago Insulator Club draws its members from northern Illinois and
Indiana and southern Wisconsin. They have approximately 65 members. Dues are
$10.00 per year ($5.00 per year for members under 16 years of age). A bimonthly
newsletter is sent to all club members and an annual directory of its members is
also published. A local show held in the spring is well attended by club members.
Complementing the local shows is a series of club
meetings, swap meets, and insulator hunts held
throughout the year. The club also presents their
annual award at the NIA national for best display
of power insulators. Their club patch depicts a CD
135 Chicago diamond groove.
