Although the Maydwell insulators are not brilliantly colored, the pastel colors have an appeal all their own. One of the most sought after, first additions to a beginning collection is the white glass CD 164 Maydwell. Originally manufactured to substitute for white porcelain signals on neutral lines. The bottom row of the display are white milkglass signals situated within a black background and illuminated from below revealing a beautiful array of swirls and base pastel colors not visible in any other previously tried display setting.
