We are driving to the 1993 Denver National, and we are outside Harrisburg, PA. We look out
the window, and see a high tension power line near the side of the road. But, wait! The
suspension insulators on the line aren't the normal brown porcelain ones. These look like
glass insulators! Aqua ones!
A quick detour at the next exit allows us to move in close, and we are able to walk to the base of the pole and look up. Wow! Seeing these glistening in the sun; what a sight!
A trivia question: How many suspension insulators are on this pole? We counted 114!
