Worldwide Porcelain Insulatorsby Marilyn Albers and Jack H. Tod
|
This is the key reference on non-US Porcelain Unipart pin types. It adds an additional 505 U numbers for pieces from all around the world (including Australia, Canada, China, Finland, Japan, Germany, New Zealand, Norway, South Africa, and many others!). The U styles are represented with cut-away line drawings that show both the profile of the insulator, as well as the internal features (Threading, inner skirts, glaze-welds, etc.).
In addition to the U number descriptions, there is an extensive listing or insulator markings providing the country of origin and the maker (if known). There is also a nice chart that lists countries and markings to each U number.
This book adds an additional 160 U styles, and 88 new markings. The set of two books is the only reference available on non-US pintype porcelain including U number identification.
(Rates apply only within the U.S.A. Please inquire for other countries)
