I would like to report my experiment offering free insulators for kids and beginning collectors has been great success. Over the summer over 100 insulators were picked up and there were no lawsuits! In the beginning, I attached individualized cards to each insulator that told a little about it and our hobby. However, this was way to much work - for something that I was just giving away; therefore, I finally just started printing address labels with the information listed below that I attached to the inside skirt of the insulators. Easy to do, simple to attach, won't blow away or fall apart in the rain, and gives enough resource information that if the kid is truly interested they can find out a little more about their newly acquired insulator and our hobby.
