SP train ARESC, a once a week train from ARCO mine in western Colorado to Union Electric's Labadie power plant. The train came into St. Louis on the UP, then went back 45 miles west of St. Louis on SP's track, which was in bad shape and allowed the train only 12 m.p.h. for the entire 45 mile trip west. 2-5-91 at Kirkwood, MO.
