As many of you probably know, Colin Yennie passed away on February 12, 2025. I took this picture of Colin at the NIA National show at Coralville, Iowa in July 2009. He loved purple insulators, as you can see. The last time I saw Colin was in November 2024. My wife and I stopped by to see Karen and Colin. He showed me his collection of colored glass insulators. He was so proud of them, and he could not fit another insulator on the table. Despite the mosquitoes and storms, I will always remember the good times we had at the Yennie's insulator meets at their cabin in Nisswa, Minnesota. Rest in peace Colin
