Lenny Philbrook passed away on April 1, 2024. He was an avid collector of California insulators. He began collecting in the early 1970s and amassed an extensive California collection that he eventually sold at the 1996 Long Beach National. He no longer remained active in the hobby, but he retained his CGI Co pony collection until his passing. Lenny would often transport his entire collection to shows and could be seen in the parking lot comparing possible purchases against those in his collection, holding them up to a piece of white acrylic. RIP Lenny, those were good old days for sure!
