I recently got a big split spool in a lot for sale on here and thought I'd share some photos of the different types I had. This excludes porcelain tree insulators which are usualy split to accomidate wires. Back: Large split wall tube. It is marked with three incused dots on the outside and a incused C on the inside, Next is a No Name split spool I got from Ken Willick from the Victor dump the other year, After that is the large split spool I just got. It is recessed embossed inside with 1488 and a line through a circle. Probably made by Thomas. Second Row: Small spool marked G.E.Co. U.S.A. 9228 inside, A small Thomas spool marked with a T,Half of a clamp type insulator marked P1789A inside, A smaller spool marked Thomas, A clamp type marked M-CO on the outside. This and the clamp type half I was told came off of the Thomas dump. Front: a rare split wall tube marked P&S on each side. Half of a No Name small Spool.
