This group of fence insulators were made for Sears Roebuck & Co. and was sold in there catalogs. They were marked Cross Country which was their brand in the 30's and 40's. Later they had the Farm Master brand and just plain Sears marked ones in the 50's through 70's. These were made for Sears by Knox Porcelain Co. and later by Wisconsin Porcelain Co. I originaly thought these were made by Square D Co. because someone had rumoured that they were found on their dump. As you can see the 2nd & 6th pieces are marked Knox 28 and are identical to the Cross Country pieces. The 5th piece was made by Wisconsin Porcelain Co. And resembles their WP 22 mold and lettering. They also made the Farm Master series and plain Sears marked pieces.
