This style is an unmarked insulator attributed to the Pilkington Brothers Ltd. of St. Helens, Lancashire, England for export to Australia. The copper top is to avoid AM radio interference. This is a two-part multipart insulator where the glass shells are cemented together. 9" - 5 1/2" X 7 1/4" (230mm - 140mm X 181mm). Unpolished copper top 1.5" x 3/16" flat chip on the bottom of the bottom piece, pieces of cement missing between the glass and copper crown.
