Brookfield CD 152 with a large 1-5/8" nail embedded in the dome. It appears the nail was tossed into the mold prior to the glass being poured, as the glass appears to have fused at the top where the nail is. MLOB variant with no mold number. Good condition overall; there is a 5/8" upper wire ridge chip on the reverse side, one small upper wire ridge chip on the front side, one small flake off the sharp inner edge of the base, and there is a small blowout on either edge of the nail that likely happened during the annealing process. The surface also has a VERY unusual texture to it and I have no clue what could have caused it. Great conversation piece! Asking $250 plus shipping. |
