Blue aqua Star beehive with an enormous bubble in the rear skirt. The bubble is fully enclosed and measures nearly 3" in length! Also note; this is not the typical profile for a Star beehive and is a somewhat hard to find variant. The shape has a resemblance to the HG Petticoat beehives and is taller in height. There is also no 'Elmer ring' at the top of the pinhole and is possibly attributed to Sterling production.

Unfortunately there is a 1-1/4" wide inner skirt chip. There are also a couple small nicks on the inner skirt as well as several scattered surface dings and a nick below the wire groove on the front side. Fortunately, the piece displays wonderfully from the bubble-side and none of the damage is visible or distracting. Definitely a 'top shelf' Star beehive. Asking $285 plus shipping.
