The demolition of the PRESSED STEEL CAR COMPANY in Pennsylvania was well documented by Matt Kanacle in the ICON: HUNTS AND FINDS album. Tom Slobodnyak and his helpers were able to preserve the insulators from this historic site as it was being taken down. The efforts of the team helped to preserve many historic items that dated back to the late 1800's. I was presented with one of the "newer CD 257 cable top insulators" complete with a section of the electric cable they were designed to carry. Will be safe and cherished for years to come. Thank you to Tom and all the " preservationists" that played a part in saving some insulator history.
