This last grouping is of two classic fence styles. The first is marked Red Snap'r TPY Ellendale Minn. It is a slip on no tie post style. I picked this up because it is of the red color that was banned in the early days of plastic fence insulators. The story goes that farmers and naturalists were complaining that the red color on the insulators was attracting humming birds and they would get zapped and die. The idea for the red color was so farmers could see the insulators better. So they used the alternate colors black or white and then yellow for high visability. The last piece is unmarked made by American Farm Works. It is a no tie nail on type. AMF, Red Snap'r, and several other fence companies were merged to form Zareba Corp in the early 2000's. The future of fencing, I also found out, has turned to 3D printed pieces which can be made in any shape, color to fit the farmers needs. There are some pretty neat designs but I stuck with the American standard manufacturers.
