Thomas M-2451 used by the Yadkin River Power Company circa 1912-1916. The company installed some 11,000-volts lines in the tobacco/cotton region of North Carolina and used Thomas products. Bow-arrow construction was used by this company and the insulator has a Lee pin insert for the bracket pin. This particular insulator was recovered by a bottle collector recently in a river or swampy area. Two of this insulator style are known in collections. The only two uses were by the Southern Power Company and Yadkin River Power Company.

The Lee pin insert has rusted to a clump inside the insulator but has not caused cracking and there are some heavy water stains that would likely come off in an acid bath. There is one chip on the crown. I am asking for $40 and will deliver to Springfield. Shipping and additional images available.
