"I built this factory in 1919 and we got started on 5 gallon bottles in 1920. This was my 2nd factory. In 1935 I moved to another location but did not make any more insulators. I made glassware for light fixtures until Truman put a ceiling on prices, then I got a patent on a machine to make 5 gal water bottles and 3 gal acid bottles called carboys. I sold the factory in 1956 the last factory in Gardena. The Cocoa Bottlers is running it now and they work around the clock."
