Being the cohost of the Garland Insulator Show I get contacted from time to time by individuals requesting information on various insulator related items. A recent request was from a lady wanting information on William McLaughlin. Her father, Claude, a retired California lineman and insulator collector had passed and left her with some correspondence between William McLaughlin and her father. Apparently, Claude had ordered some of William's commemoratives. I am adding pictures of William's response to Claude and adding a picture of the commemoratives that Claude ordered from William.

I thought it was interesting that the envelope is post marked 9/11 "PRAY FOR PEACE".
