Hi, I am definitely going over to "the dark side" I actually bought a porcelain insulator last weekend! I saw it at an antique store and I couldn't resist it. It is about 12" high, and 14" wide at the top skirt.(I guess I have a weakness for larger power pieces...) I bought the 4th Edition Value Guide for Unipart and Multipart Porcelain Insulators, but I still can't figure out which one it is. I got a few answers offline on this one. --Bill Kuhar said, "My guess it is an Ohio Brass from 1915 to 1930. Does it have a mark on the top? Their glaze colors can be beautiful especially when polished. Don't know M4 number off hand and don't need to. Bill" --Dave Dahle said, "That'll be an M-4323 Ohio Brass." I can't find any markings on it at all. |
