I've had it on my bucket list to go to the factory site for years. Been staring at the field and parking lot by the train tracks on Google Earth. So we headed up to Canada, to the town of St.Jean Sur Richelieu.

To my horror, the field and lots were all turned into condos. The very last condo being built, was directly on the glass factory building site. There was a communication building on top of where the furnace would have been. Luckily there was one last spoil pile remaining from the freshly poured foundation. From that pile the only things of antiquity I found was some bricks. I would have loved to dig around, but I was technically trespassing, and went around the fence just to grab the bricks. Probably some slag glass under that pile, but we were starting to attract attention, and it was a shady neighborhood. I brought a CD 740 Foster Bros for a reunion photo. Wish we made the trip years ago. Not much to be found anymore.
