Here's a rare Violet Cobalt Blue Busbar insulator made by the French company St Gobain through one of its subsidiaries in Spain. Research has confirmed there were no other glass insulator manufacturers in Spain. (Esperanza was a Gobain subsidiary). Color in photo is accurate but the violet tone doesn't show in the photo.

Insulator was salvaged by a recycling company in Spain. This beautiful insulator measures 2 1/2" wide x 2 1/2" tall. Unmarked. Made with 3 factory divots on the top and 3 on the outer skirt. Has two 1/4" skirt flakes (one partly affect the base) and two factory rub marks created when grinding the divots (to allow safe placement of the iron caps that were removed by the recyclers) and one tiny tic mark. Easy VNM condition.
