I acquired all of these pin types, LRI's, embossed battery jar, and Codd bottles today at the Mid-Maine Antique Bottle Club show in Topsham where I ran into three ICONers, including a couple of Yankee Pole Cats. The glowing yellow green CD 126 CREB and the blue CD 136.4 unembossed Canadian Boston are the stars of the haul. Also included are CD 145 American, CD 133.1 ad 134 Pat. Dec. 1871, CD 134 Pennycuick, smooth base CD 162 Hemingray, CD 162 CREB, CD 112 B, CD 102 bar-diamond, CD 190 Two-Piece Transposition, a Pierce saddle strain, an NET&T spool, an unembossed johnny ball, 6 side-tab LRI's (all damaged), a blue radio lighting arrester, three amber Globe Codd bottles, a battery jar embossed The Empire City Electric Company New York with partial guts, and a porcelain battery jar cover embossed A.R.A. Signal Cell L.S. Brach Mfg. Co. Newark, N.J., also with partial guts. Spent all the money I made at the Yankee Pole Cat event yesterday . . . and then some. 8^D |
