During my last visit to Holland I managed to find and buy these two copper plated insulators with a wonderful patina of time and in good condition. Both U-1692 and the larger U-1743 are so far the only insulators of this type that I have seen, in the second picture you can see the thickness of the copper plate that covers them, I wonder how they made it?
