Nik Mika and I found a mint, marked Fred Locke U-926A in a rural Georgia antique mall yesterday. It happened right after the Toccoa DJIC show. The marking is 6-1 with MLOD dating it to the 1902-1903 era and right around when the Georgetown, CO transmission system was built that most all marked U-926A of this type come from. My best guess is that the insulator came from Georgetown or it was used on a nearby transmission line built in 1902 here in Georgia.
