I am offering these two signals individually from my personal collection. The Californias are taking over my shelf space, so something needs to go. Trades for unusual Californias are the preference. I will leave the trade option open for the first 48 hours. After that they will be up for grabs at the prices listed. I'm cross-posting in the For Sale folder, as well. Left: I have owned this insulator for 32 years! It is embossed with No 19 only and is on the lighter side of cobalt blue. It contains some exceptionally nice ribbons of milk with some light amber contaminants flowing within the milk. The majority of the milk displays best from the unembossed side. It only has two flaked drips and a tiny open bubble on the inner skirt, so a vnm rating, especially for a colored signal. Trade or sell value: $750 plus actual shipping. Right: This one has been with me for 20 years. It is embossed Hemingray No 19 and a light to medium shade of cobalt blue with a glow to it. It is loaded with milk, especially in the front dome. It's the milkiest cobalt signal I've ever owned. It almost appears jade-like. Coincidentally, this one too has two flaked drips and a tiny open bubble on the inner skirt, so a vnm rating. You will be hard-pressed to find a nicer example of a cobalt signal with this much milk. Trade or sell value: $1,000 plus actual shipping. |
