Storm damage. Ringtown, PA. 6/26/24. The cable dangled hot for two days until repair was made. The linemen figured the line was over-fused and never popped. It formed an obsidian glass like blob where the cable was arcing to ground. It made a neat sizzle sound as it blew in the breeze through the lilac bush. PPL had over one hundred thousand customers out at one point after these storms blowed through.
