My grandfather, William McLaughlin, made his CD 162 Commemorative Insulators by smashing up pieces of vintage candy dishes. As you can see, these had the necessary qualities to glow under a blacklight. Here is a photo of these insulators and another pic of the candy dish pieces he used.
