Some pieces used from old retooled molds become transition pieces and have two markings on them. I had a lot of Ohio Brass pieces in my previous collection but only came across a couple of styles like this. The one got lost along the way but I held onto this piece for some reason. It's the interesting stove pipe style made by them but this piece has the old embossed marking still on top and the newer recessed marking on the bottom. Ohio brass usually always marked their insulator in a place where the trimming tools would not touch the embossed marking. This one escaped that as well.
