This is one of my favorite COOK Insulator pieces. Not for just the marking but who it reminds me of. I purchased it years ago, then sold it and repurchased it again. The insulator was sitting on the sales table of Dan Ling. He said that's a neat piece it has two 00 on it. I looked at it and said sure I'll buy it. Being a Cook Insulator collector too, I said do you know this is a COOK pony insulator. He said really, and I showed him with a magnifying glass and light the faint C and K on either side of the 00's. Well I'll be, You bought her. Years later he was killed in an ATV accident. I'll always look at this piece and remember his humor and that day. I have several pieces like that. Makes collecting all the more special. In the picture it looks almost like a cartoon character staring back at you.
