THE last remaining original pole on this line - an extension from the company's main system west to a power plant added to the company's generation fleet in 1926. It's a safe bet every disc will have a late 1925 / early 1926 date! As built, the line had a shield wire, but it was removed when the line was redone from the 2-over-1 arrangement to delta arrangement with line posts in the early 1980s. Update: In a regulatory filing, the company has stated they will be doing a partial rebuild of this line segment in 2026... I don't hold out much hope or this pole's future.
