I found this unique strain on an auction. It was made by Westinghouse Electric Mfg. Co.. It is marked with the Westinghouse logo and Patented Sept 22, 1914. I could not find a patent for this strain on that date but did find one for a connector showing this strain and Hewlett disks. It was US1217508A by William Schaake of Pittsburg, Pa. on Feb 27, 1914. This is a very neat heavy strain made by them in the mid teens early twenties. I have a catalog page which shows these and another strain I have from a 1921-22 Westinghouse catalog.
