- SPECIMENS - UP TO 90% OFF BOOK PRICE">

Here is an assortment of hard to find and desirable insulators, that unfortunately weren't shown much love by their original owners. These make great place holders until a nicer one comes your way. This picture shows them at their best angle for display, please reach out for photos of damage. 10% of all proceeds go towards the start-up costs affiliated with the Wabash Valley Insulator Club.

Starting at top left:

SOLD - CD 133.1 BROOKES in Brookes Blue. Extensive skirt damage. Offered at less than half of book price, $85.

SOLD - CD 162 ELECTRIC BLUE Signal, H.G.Co. EIN [070]. Where isn't there damage on this one? Offered at just ten percent of book price, $75.

CD259 Oakman in light green. This is a recent antique store find. The story behind it is quite comical. I have left the $1 price tag on it as part of that story, even though I ended up paying much more! Several internal fractures and light chipping at the bottom of the skirt. Approx. half of book, $45. NOW $35

CD164 No Name PETTICOAT in purple. This insulator in mint condition books for over $1,000. It is offered here for a fraction of that price, $275. It has EXTENSIVE skirt damage, but displays well from the front (if you don't mind a few missing drips.) NOW $260

SOLD - CD 272 with amber in the ears, skirt damage. Half of book. $25

CD164 H.G.Co Jade Green milk with very impressive amber swirls. Some base damage. $70 NOW $60

NEXT SHELF

CD731 Threadless specimen. Dug and pieced together by Bob Roosevelt, probably before I was born. $15 NOW $10

SOLD - CD 241.2 Talk about a specimen... almost none of the outer skirt is left! $15

SOLD - CD 121.4 A.U. [020] C mold. Unfortunately when I bought this, it was mint. By the time I got home from the show, it wasn't. I tried supergluing the pieces of the base back together, but one didn't dry right and now sits a bit off. $25

CD291 Hemingray No.3, my personal favorite in this group. Damage to the skirt and wire ridge. 10% of book, $150.

CD102 Hawley, chipped in the rear, $10 NOW $8

SOLD - CD 112.4, internal fracture in skirt, fingernail chip on upper wire ridge. $45
