One of the latticed aluminum towers on Minnkota Power Cooperative's Center - Maple River 345kV line (built in 1970, upgraded to paired conductor after Otter Tail Power's Coyote Plant went online in 1981). Over the years, the cooperative has had to replace a fair number of these towers, some with modern pre-rusted steel H-frames and others with traditional wooden H-frames (the latter was likely after an ice storm in the area a while back). |
