The classic Canadian-used but American-made late generation Brookfield CD 101, this example has the mold number '11' below the BROOKFIELD embossing on the front, and no embossing at all on the rear side. It's a saturated dark olive green shade, with a large amount of finely diffused amber swirling visibly diffused throughout. It has a bit of a right-wards lean in the dome area. It has just a little dose of original soot still intact - I'll leave it up to you to clean this, should you so desire. I like them sooty these days, personally. This example is in fair condition, with just some typical upper wire ridge damage. On the front left upper wire ridge there's a 7 mm flake at the mold line, and a slightly deeper 10 mm long flake just in front of the left mold line. There's also a tiny 5 mm flake on the right upper wire ridge. I'm asking $30 USD plus shipping for this one. I'm always happy to trade for early Canadian glass or Canadian-made porcelain insulators. I have a long-standing want list of Canadian-made porcelain posted, [id=505519866; please click here to see it]. I accept PayPal, or personal cheque from any member of ICON or any collector with whom I have dealt before. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or for more photos, and look through my other items or unsold sales stock to combine shipping on items. |
