Here's a great duo of STAR CD 106s made at Elmer, NJ. Both originated from a Bell lineman's collection earlier this summer, and were removed from use along a Bell lead near Cayuga, ON in the early 1970s.

At left, as well as in the inset image at lower right, is a light aqua example with some pronounced amber swirling in the dome, tonnes of snow throughout, and nearly 1" of dome glass. 1.2 cm flat base flake below and to the left of the STAR, and a 1.1 cm no glass missing bruise on the rear lower wire ridge.

At right is a good yellow green example. This one has a 1.2 cm flat base flake on the left base edge, and a 0.5 cm flat base flake on the right base - both near the mold lines. Otherwise it's nice and shiny, and has some nice straw marks in the front to give some added character.

$26 USD plus shipping for the pair. I'm always happy to trade for early Canadian glass or Canadian-made porcelain insulators. I have a long-standing want list of Canadian-made porcelain posted, [id=505519866; please click here to see it]. I accept PayPal, or personal cheque from any member of ICON or any collector with whom I have dealt before. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or for more photos, and look through my other items or unsold sales stock to combine shipping on items.
