Here's another charactered Canadian pony - this time a "type 2" Diamond pony with just a diamond on the front skirt, and a bit of a different profile than most with this embossing. This mold is known for having the "speedy diamond" shown, with machining lines protruding off of one side of it. This one is a fairly typical dark olive amber colour, but for some added character it has a fair amount of graphite flecks and swirls throughout the front crown and dome. These don't show at all when backlit, but when front lit as in the second photo, they reflect light.

This example is in VNM condition, with no visible damage that I can see.

I'm now asking $30 USD plus shipping for this one. I'm always happy to trade for early Canadian glass or Canadian-made porcelain insulators. I have a long-standing want list of Canadian-made porcelain posted, [id=505519866; please click here to see it]. I accept PayPal, or personal cheque from any member of ICON or any collector with whom I have dealt before. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or for more photos, and look through my other items or unsold sales stock to combine shipping on items.
