Here's a Canadian CD 154 in an uncommon shade: a Dominion 42 with a colour somewhere in the realm of teal to grey green. Teal green as listed in the guide book seems to vary a bit, as with most of the colours in these Dominion 154s. This one is a bit more grey and a little bit lighter than most I've seen, but it's still a nice saturated green shade and significantly darker than the common light green shades. This one has a small '2' below the Diamond D on the rear skirt. This example appears to be VNM. I can't see any damage so this one is certainly an excellent example. I'm now asking $85 USD plus shipping for this one. I'm always happy to trade for early Canadian glass or Canadian-made porcelain insulators. I have a long-standing want list of Canadian-made porcelain posted, [id=505519866; please click here to see it]. I accept PayPal, or personal cheque from any member of ICON or any collector with whom I have dealt before. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or for more photos, and look through my other items or unsold sales stock to combine shipping on items. |
