This one is a very odd American cable style which was assigned a new U-# in 2021. Its manufacturer is unknown at this time, and I've heard numerous suggestions of its origins, but I'm not enough of an expert on American porcelain to make a suggestion myself. Several of these were found in a collection in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada and their origins can possibly be traced to one of the mines in that area. This example is one of the relatively few in the group that had a lighter, metallic mottled caramel glaze. As you can see it has some drippy dark-coloured glaze highlights.

This one is NM, with just one 1/8 pinky nail flake on the inner edge of the outer skirt that I can see.

I'm now asking $40 USD plus shipping for this oddball. I'm always happy to trade for early Canadian glass or Canadian-made porcelain insulators. I have a long-standing want list of Canadian-made porcelain posted, [id=505519866; please click here to see it]. I accept PayPal, or personal cheque from any member of ICON or any collector with whom I have dealt before. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or for more photos, and look through my other items or unsold sales stock to combine shipping on items.
