In early April of this year I was out working an early CPR line trying my luck at raking around for some early threaded MLOD glass. With minimal success I decided to work my way back to the truck along the other side of the track. This side was also poled, but rarely yields anything of note. On this particular day I was pretty blown away to find a Lefferts hook laying right on top of the ground about 2' away from a broken CD 145 "B". Due to the rocky ground and minimal ground cover in this area I guess the new and the old had nowhere to go. See next for in situ pic |
