I was recently out looking on eBay as most of us do from time to time and and I pulled up "Insulators". Looking around I noticed a listing for a Flashed Amber Hemingray CD 216. Not and old insulator, not and everyday insulator either, but definitely falls into the category of eye candy. It was buy it now and had been out there for a while….? I looked it over and then went on viewing other insulator listings. A couple of days later as I sometimes do, I revisited the listing. I looked at my examples comparing color to this one and I noticed a couple interesting differences. The first was, it was two tone and not streaked like flashing normally is, second and not noted in the description, was that it was not embossed Hemingray.
