The president of our IBEW Local 104 Union requested some Pyrex insulators to install on the tops of the three flag poles in front of their headquarters upon building completion a few years ago. I was more than happy to donate the insulators (Pyrex-441s) along with some sturdy pins for this purpose.

They have a really nifty museum and you should check it out if you are in the eastern Massachusetts area (call ahead!)

The local's president originally wanted three Pyrex-701s (the largest one-piece glass insulators made). Although unavailable at the time these still certainly look pretty splendid!!
