Here's a set of 3 CD 143s that are better than average, to help grow any lineup of these renowned little beehives. From left to right: Grey [170] CANADIAN PACIFIC RY CO. This one is a great and somewhat scarce shade, with minimal colour of any sort apart from just straight "grey". It has some nice scattered snow and potstone chunks, milky/amber swirls in the left and rear crown and a large elongated bubble in the rear behind the wire groove, just to add further interest. Condition is fair, with a 5 mm fisheye bruise and a tiny fleabite on the front crown, two 7 mm wide by less than 1 mm deep flakes on the front outer base edge, and a 5 mm wide upper wire ridge flake in the rear. Light purple [040] C.P.R. CD 143. Nice strong purple colour, and some chunks of potstone in the front crown. A 4.5 cm long flat base flake on the front left base, and two wire rubs spots on the front right lower wire ridge - both less than 1 cm wide. In the rear there are two 1 cm wide by 2 mm deep outer base edge flakes. Light aqua CANADIAN PACIFIC RY CO blotout, listed as NO NAME - CANADA [040]. I've found these to be somewhat scarce, at least here in SW Ontario. I know there were more used in the prairie provinces. This example has a 1.3 cm wide rear base flake on the outer edge, and some scattered fleabites and scuffs mainly in the rear. There is one 5 mm tall scratch on the front skirt below the blotted remnants of "PAC". I'm now asking $110 USD plus shipping for the group of 3. I'm always happy to trade for early Canadian glass or Canadian-made porcelain insulators. I have a long-standing want list of Canadian-made porcelain posted, [id=505519866; please click here to see it]. I accept PayPal, or personal cheque from any member of ICON or any collector with whom I have dealt before. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or for more photos, and look through my other items or unsold sales stock to combine shipping on items. |
