At the end of April, I went to Croatia with my sister and her family to look for the villages my grandparents left over 100 years ago when they came to Pittsburgh. While I was there, I took pictures of lots of porcelain insulators, most of which are no longer in use. The first series I'll put up are the first insulators that we saw on our first day in Zagreb. These were on the roof of a building next to the main station for the electric trains that run through the country (and between countries). |
