A nifty Line Material Company brown cutout (aka "chocolate boxes" via the old timers around here) is seen upon this pole along with a great-looking square distribution transformer probably from the 1920s or 30s still doing its job. From there the pole is full of brown (pre-mid-1960s) porcelain insulators along with a couple clear glass saddle-grooves. This sight pretty much looks untouched from the 1960s except for the modern street light added beneath. Photo by Matt Weldon. |
