A little late but recently confirmed that my long time collector friend Dave Potts passed on March 26 '23. Great guy, loved collecting, talking phone line stories. Dave, Larry Reed (passed away June 2017) and I were all Pacific Telephone employees in the 1980's with a love for open wire lines, all kinds of telco history. One of Dave's favorites was the huge open wire toll line along 99W from Woodland up to Dunnigan Calif. Dave actually maintained it, took many pictures of it, which he posted often. He signed off as "Pins 5 & 6" (the pole pair). Will miss you Dave, RIP.
