Fresh from the barn is this U-2028 together with a cast iron solid base found here in Norway but manufactured by Danish Bing & Grøndahl. According to the catalogue, this type of stamp in blue color (next photo) indicates the period of production between 1853 and 1894. In the third photo together with U-1435, you can see the difference in the size of the cast iron base, giving the impression that it was matched to the size / weight of the insulators. Great find and addition to the collection.
