This is a very rare type of metal pin to find. A twist pin that used wooden cobs instead of the common threaded metal pin that uses the wooden cobs. I found two of these on the old railway in Westerville Ohio in 1992. They were in an old cross arm used in a fence line. There were only two and I got them both. However, after 31 years, I can only locate the one of the two. The entire area that this was found in is city now, specifically a Kroger store and mall. You'd never know anything was ever here. |
