Here is another one of my first-owner insulators, acquired from the demo contractors when the old MBTA Orange Line was being torn down in 1988. I've had this piece in my collection ever since then and always decided to keep it owing to its fantastic green color, VVNM condition and generous dome glass. Very few of those found were in green and even fewer had nice dome glass like this one. Further, many of the CD 267 NEGM survivors were cracked, chipped or fractured due to the punishing conditions they endured while in 88 years of service between the vibrating track rails that were right nearby. I am presently thinning out this nice piece of Boston history along with a few others that I always thought were a tad "different". This piece looks VNM to me with hardly any signs of wear. A couple more views follow. $595 and that includes free Priority Mail shipping in the lower 48. PayPal (no-fee, family-friends mode) is fine. Thanks!
