You really can't beat some Canadian pink shades for vividness. This CD 106, found in southern Alberta, is a great example. My photos don't do the vividness of this shade justice. You just have to see these ones in person on a nice sunny day to understand how bright they can be. This one is on the darker, more vivid end of the range of pink shades these can be found in. The "pink tint" terminology used in the guide doesn't describe just how deep a shade this is. This example has 4 flaked drips, one of which widens out into a narrow inner base edge flake. It has a small 5 mm impact on the crown on one side. Lastly, it also has a pair of lehr kisses on the upper and lower wire ridges on one side. Overall it's a shiny, clean, beautiful piece. I'm asking $20 USD plus shipping for this one. I'm always happy to trade for early Canadian glass or Canadian-made porcelain insulators. I accept PayPal, or personal cheque from any member of ICON or any collector with whom I have dealt before. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or for more photos, and look through my other items or unsold sales stock to combine shipping on items. |
